KANYE DEBUTS TO HUGE NUMBERS!



Kanye is officially back! With the critics raving and many fans who've been awaiting his return to the music scene, it's no surprise that Kanye's latest disc My Beautidul Dark Twisted Fantasy hit the No.1 spot this week. The album sold a respective 519,000 leaving many others in the dust. Nicki Minaj also had a strong debut, taking the No.2 spot with 371,000, for her first disc Pink Friday. This marks the highest first week sales from a female mc since Lauryn Hill in 1998. Congrats to both!

WHOSE ON TOP? THE 'SOCIAL 50'



Have you'll heard? Billboard has just introduced a chart that will keep track of your favorite artists' and their popularity on social networking sites. The Social 50 keeps record of how many fans, followers, friends and plays today's rising artists' garner in and ranks them in the order of most activity. So whose on top for week one you ask? The top five include Rihanna at No.1, Justin Bieber at No.2, Eminem at No.3, Lady Gaga at No.4 and Nicki Minaj at No.5. If I were them, I would be very appreciative. Thoughts?

FIRST LOOK: THE PLAYSTATION PHONE!

This concept is pretty dope! Sony has incorporated the PSP with their Sony Erricson phone, and now introduce the Playstation Phone. The device will use the Android 3.0 Operating System and its features include: 3.7-4.1in screen, multitouch functioning, 512MB of RAM, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 and 1GB of ROM.

The Playstation Phone will also let you access the Sony Marketplace, where you can download the latest games, videos and music. The device will be hitting shelves at the top of the new year.

Check out this exhibition created by Jason Alper, titled Proletarian Drift and the Enfranchisement of the Bourgeoisie. I like how he incorporated Louis Vuitton, which gives these classic paintings a fresh feel.

This video is a piece of art! Kanye West took it to the next level for "Runaway", making this 30+ min short film starring supermodel Selita Ebanks. The video has many different dynamics to it, which all lead to a stunning visual. Kanye's new album, 'My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy', is out next month.

THE CAST OF GLEE LETS LOOSE FOR GQ!

Wow! This is a side of the cast I've never seen. Check out Glee stars Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith on this month's issue of GQ magazine.
