According to the UK's Daily Express, Michael Jackson's estate has paid off all of the singers previous debts. With a mix of the box office sales from the 'Michael Jackson: This Is It' film and all of the music and memorabilia sales since his death, the singer is finally out of the hole. It is estimated that the Jackson estate has made a fortune and has exceeded the $500 million he owed.

'NEW MOON' CRUSHES COMPETITION AND TAKES NO.1 SPOT

'The Twilight Sage: New Moon' drew in crowds of people over the weekend, making an estimated $140.7 million at the box office. The film took in $26.3 million during the midnight showings and a whopping $72.7 million on Friday alone. 'New Moon' also had the third highest-grossing opening behind 'The Dark Knight' and 'Spider Man 3'. The film currently holds the No.1 spot. Not too shabby.

Looks like John Mayer is on track to have a No. 1 album. According to hitsdailydouble, Mayer's new album 'Battle Studies' is set to sell between 275-300k next week, based on one-day sales reports. That puts him ahead of both Norah Jones and 50 Cent, who could both easily grab the No. 2 spot. Mayer's first-single "Who Says" has recieved warm reviews, and the video for the song showcases Mayer's simple yet artistic side.
