It's official! The ABC Network has just confirmed that Janet Jackson will be opening the 2009 American Music Awards. The singer will be doing an eight-minute melody of her hit songs from over the years. My guess is that she's going to kill it! The 2009 American Music Awards will air on Nov. 22 at 8PM on ABC.
