ALBUM REVIEW: USHER 'RAYMOND V. RAYMOND'

After 2008's mediocre Here I Stand, Usher returns in full force with his latest effort Raymond v. Raymond. The album consists of fourteen tracks, all of which smoothly transition into one another. His first single "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)", produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, was the perfect way to begin the album. The song has smooth production and is definitely a return to the Usher we've grown to know. His second single "Lil Freak" featuring Nicki Minaj and produced by Polow Da Don, is an instant club banger. The song features heavy production and has Usher on the prowl for a lil freak who's down for anything. Other standout tracks include: "She Don't Know" featuring Ludacris, "Pro Lover," "Foolin Around" and "So Many Girls". With his divorce behind him and his swag back in top form, Usher proves that he is still the King of R&B.
